S'odinonsuonare is a performance collective started in Padova in 2010 by Alessio Mazzaro and Marco Campana. It is interested in researching and creating new musical instruments that can be play with the movement of the body.The collective has worked with contact microphones and flex movement sensors, creating every time a sound and movement vocabulary to make performance with. The goal of S'odinonsuonare is the interaction between music composition and choreography, to bring to “new dimension” the relationship touch/sound, move/sound. To research a direct correspondence between musical and movement language, creating a game, a dynamics based on discovery and instinct of the performer. In 2013 it won the grant of mobility for young italian artist, Movin up, by the Italian Department of Culture. In 2014 it is in residency at STEIM in Amsterdam, where it starts the project Flex, a project about suitable movement sensors for dancers. It presents its projects at STEIM, Museum Musil (Italy), art fair ArtVerona within the section Indipendents3, Spazio Pelodrilli, Path Festival and more electro music festivals. Alessio Mazzaro is a Visual artist and Environmental Engineer(IUAV university and Aberdeen University), working as a performer for BarokTheGreat, dancer for La Veronal at 42. Festival Internazionale del Teatro of Biennale di Venezia, actor and student of Claudio Tolcachir at Biennale College Teatro 2012, assistant of the artist Petrit Halilaj at 55. Biennale d’arte di Venezia.
