I have worked as an artist for many years. I am a painter and sculptor and performer. I have co-directed the performance group, Danse Perdue (based out of New Orleans then Seattle) since 2002, and the Teatro de la Psychomachia (a theater, art gallery and workshop studio located in Seattle, U.S.A.), since 2010. Since 2001, I have performed (some combination of socio-anthropology, ritual theater, captured states like Hysteria, prisons, obsessive compulsive disorders, love, literature … and butoh dance) and shown artwork (metal sculpture, oil paintings, photography and writing) in many cities in the United States. In Europe, I have performed, taught and shown work in Italy, Switzerland, and Germany. And this year I taught and performed in Russia for the first time. I have a Bachelor’s degree in writing from Bard College in New York and won their Mary McCarthy prize for fiction for my first novel although I’m not a fan of it.
