About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!

Andrew is currently in his fifth season with the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company (LACDC).  He has also freelanced with Los Angeles-based companies BodyTraffic, String Theory, LollieWorks, and Clairobscur Dance Company, among others.  Andrew has had the privilege of working with many internationally recognized choreographers including Donald McKayle, Ryan Heffington, Loretta Livingston, Matteo Levaggi, and Barak Marshall.  As a choreographer, Andrew has worked in all facets of live performance from opera to concert dance, musical theater to Shakespeare. Operating under the belief that dance, at its core, is a social activity, Andrew uses movement to study and comment on human relationships. For this reason, inspiration for movement is often pulled from dance that exists off the stage, such as recreational, or social dancing, blended with his background in western concert dance techniques. Andrew believes in a somatic and anatomically naturalistic approach to dance training that emphasizes efficiency of movement, strength, and mind-body connectivity.  He is constantly looking for new modes of exercising the mind and body to help dancers find both freedom and control within their dancing.
