Anna Macdonald's background is in dance and live arts but in recent years has received International recognition for her experimental film practice. Her work has a pared down quality and focuses on framing everyday events in a way that allows us to re-see them in more detail. Her practice has been regular funded by the Arts Council England and received several commissions. Recent projects include collaborations with artists such as Vincent Caclialano (Magpie dance) and Andrea Buckley (Siobhan Davies) and Anna is currently resident choreographer at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK
