I work on the idea of dance or kinesthetics as a possible tool and model for intermedial exploration. The notion of gesture and the moving image are crucial for my PhD (June 2012), which takes up the challenge of applying dance aesthetics concepts (rhythm, gesture, empathy) to a wide range of media at the time of early twentieth century: visual poetry, architecture, film, drawing, photography.
