Christeen Stridsberg is a Columbus native raised on tap dance & punk rock. She is an alum of Otterbein College, where she was the rehearsal assistant to Randy Skinner and graduated with Distinction, and is an MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (Dance Performance and Choreography), where she performed and choreographed for Second Avenue Dance Company. Chrissy has performed globally, in Japan, Russia, South Korea, and the high-seas! A creator of movement AND words, she now is a professor at Wittenberg University, & Otterbein University - where she teaches Gender & Performance studies, Kinesiology, and Dance History & technique. She is the recipient of the Joanne Van Sant Dance Award & the Columbus Dance Theatre Fellowship. She was recently seen with CMCo at the Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival and OFF THE WALL: dance on high art, a Pizzuti Collection collaboration. Christeen loves sharing dance with students of all ages and prides herself in doing so.
