Christina Fornaciari Lives and works in Belo Horizonte. Graduated in Law, Fornaciari develops works in the field of performance since 2003. With an MA in Performance at Queen Mary University of London (2005), she is currently a PhD Student at Federal University of Bahia, Brazil, where she researches the relationships between Performance, Technology and Politics. Christina is a Senior Lecturer of Arts at the Federal University of Minas Gerais/Brazil, and a Professor of Bodily Expression and Improvisation at CEFAR - Training Centre for the Arts, Palácio das Artes (Minas Gerais/Brazil). Among her main works stands out the interdisciplinary piece “Performafunk” (2009), awarded by Brazilian National Foundation for the Arts – FUNARTE.
