Born in 1977. Graduated from Anton-Bruckner-University, Linz in 2004. 1000 weisse Pferd - tanz die Riefenstahl (2006), Mystere et Mysere (2008) , Landschaft mit Katastrophe (2010), feed and bleed (2011), scholarship on choreographic research from the Austrian Ministery of Culture for Berlin and Tokyo(2010/11) Cornelia Bohnisch is a dancer and choreogephaer. She has worked at the Dusseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Lindenhof Theater Melchingen, for the artists' collective "gold extra"; further collaborations with the choreographers/ directors: Daniel Aschwanden, Editta Braun, Rose Breuss, Sigfried Buhr, Myrto Dimitriadou, Astrid Griesbach, Claudia Heu, Georg Hobmaier, Marten Spangberg, Theodoros Terzopoulos a.o. and continousiley she works for Toihaus Theatre, Salzburg. 2010/11 she was awarded a scholarship from the Austrian Ministery of Culture for continued research in Berlin and Tokyo. About works / performance For each of my works I'm looking for a special movement concept. Those different sources of movement are then brought together to a overall concept, which might be named a „choreographic landscape", which works for at least one full performative show and will be deconstructed in the next. One thing they all got in common is some kind of something in between german coarseness and austrian morbidity; looking for a way to find out what „new german Ausdruckstanz" might mean to me.
