Elise is a dance artist; a mover and a thinker whose creative practice includes choreography, performance, and writing. Currently based in London, she holds an M.A. in Performance and Choreography from London Contemporary Dance School and a B.A. in Archaeology from Brown University. As well as performing professionally for others, Elise's own choreographic practice arises from the cross-overs she has found between performance and archaeology. Her research explores the relationship between place, memory and people, with a current focus on the embodied knowledges of traditional labour practices.
