Frank Dufour is currently the pedagogical engineer in charge of the redesign of the graduate programs at the graduate school HEALTHY, Université Côte d’Azur. Frank holds a Ph.D. in Sciences of Information and Communication from the University of Paris VIII and is Emeritus Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas in the school of Arts, Technology and Emerging Communication. As a new media artist, Frank creates interactive audiovisual installations exploring concepts emerging at the conjunction of perception and representation. Together with Prof. xtine burrough, Frank created in the school of ATEC at UT Dallas, the independent Laboratory of Synthetic and Electronic Poetry (LabSynthe) destined to observe, study, and create poetic experiences in the context of digital technologies.
