About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!

Initially trained as a dancer, I move between the academic and the practitioner’s worlds. My performing career has stretched from modern dance productions to experimental, site-specific, multimedia and physical theatre projects in co-creative environments. 2004 – 2012 I was creative producer and manager for several mixed-abled, transnational dance-theatre productions in many African, Latin American and Asian countries. As an artistic co-director and curator I conceived among others the durational performative installation 'KULTURdifferenzTanz' (2006, Cologne, Germany)and the 'Crossings Dance Festival' (2006 - 2011, Düsseldorf, Germany), 2012-2014 I co-conceived and produced the project UPHEAVAL on three continents. 2010 I got my M.A. in International Arts Management (DE) with the thesis 'Bloodbath-Bloodbond. About the work of the Goethe-Institut Tel Aviv'. 2014 I conceived and carried out the Symposium 'Heim.at tanz.t.The Body and Identity Politics in Sri Lanka' (German Sports University Cologne). I have been a visiting lecturer in different universities in Germany and the UK and have moderated countless talks with artists in festivals, congresses and theatres worldwide. Furthermore, I have presented my work in several conferences, both traditionally and as performative interventions. 2017 I was invited as an international dramaturg to the Festival TransAmériques (Canda) and by the project Flausen as a mentor for the project Bodies we Fail (Germany). Since 2015 I am a doctoral candidate at C-DaRE, UK, where my research focuses on national dance platforms.
