I am a dance artist, educator, improvisor and community organizer in Washington, DC. I am a founding bandmember of Tia Nina and a founding ensemble member of force/collision. I have performed with Dance Box Theater, Daniel Burkholder, Yoko K. and other artists in the D.C. area. My work challenges the contrasts between the elegant, the grotesque, the organic and the digital. As a resident artist at Georgetown Hospital, I guide patients through relaxing imagery and staff through short stretching breaks, applying dance in practical ways to enhance quality of life. I have been presented by the Philly Fringe Festival, Gaia in Washington DC, and the Source Festival. I have a B.A. in Dance and Environmental studies from Denison University and am currently pursuing my MFA in Dance at George Washington University. This channel shows all of my video work created for or associated with my MFA degree, July 2012 - December 2013.
