Irina Maksimovic finished her studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Department for Ethnomusicology. Currently she is doing first part of PhD Degree in the Theory of Arts and Media at the University of Arts in Belgrade. Presently she works as the Editor of musical shows at the Third program of Radio Belgrade, Radio Television of Serbia. Her fields of interests are: studies of popular culture, theories of media, digital culture, digital art, sound art, virtual art, anthropology of music, contemporary arts and digital poetry. She is founder and President of Interdisciplinary Society of Ethnomusicologists.
