About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!

It was in late 1994 that I first started to learn dance, and my interest in dance performance developed so much that I applied to Chungbuk Arts High School, thereafter entering the dance department at Dongduk Women’s University. Here I trained in various dance movements, and in particular Korean dances, which embody something quintessential about Korean culture. After graduation, I became a professional dancer, and since 2006 I specialised in ZenDance, which is an embodiment of meditation, or movement creation, as well as spiritual practice and physical conditioning. Along with some other senior dancers, I formed a dance troupe which mainly performed in Buddhist temples. Another milestone which helped tremendously in shaping my identity was living in Paris for two years, where I became proficient in French and learnt about French culture.I was fascinated to compare this with my conception of traditional Korean culture. Whilst studying, my intellectual curiosity extended into dance theory, and especially dancemovement therapy.
