    Julie Rose Bower is a University of Oxford linguist and a Lecoq-trained theatremaker. Her performance work uses theatrical language in a live art context; performances have been received at venues including Barbican, ICA, Science Museum, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Northern Stage, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Toynbee Studios, Fierce Festival, and Jackson's Lane. Collaborators include Geraldine Pilgrim, Lundahl and Seitl, Enda Walsh, Chroma, Thomas Hicks and Secret Cinema. Her writing has been published by McSweeneys and Henningham Family Press. She creates and delivers events and experiences that explore the body as mise en scene and encourage heightened awareness through enjoyable and unusual interventions in work that is immersive and participatory. Her research interests include sensory science, behavioural economics, heritage sites, dancing technologies and metacognition.
