I was born in Lima in 1961. I studied dance in NY with Merce Cunningham, in the 80's. I moved to Rome we I lived 10years and I worked as dancer and a choreographer also, presenting my pieces in Theaters and Museums, and Festival around the world. I went back to Lima in 1992, there I directed the programmation of a Museum, and afterwards of the City Theaters from Lima during 6 years as well as the Festival Internacional de Danza y Teatro de LIma which I founded. In between I lived in México DF, where I was teacher in composition, technique and improvisation in the National school of dance. I live in France since 7 years, but I continue working in Lima (where I have my non-profit org La Oveja Negra), and in Madrid, mostly with women, and women immigrants, non dancers, people from the everyday life, in the poor neighborhoods, building a political art work, trying to construct a better world.
