Kimberleigh A. Holman is a Boston-based choreographer, lighting designer and an Artistic Director of Luminarium Dance Company. She is also the dance curator for Trill Boston, and enjoys teaching whenever time permits. Since founding Luminarium in 2010 with Merli V. Guerra, Kimberleigh has shown her work at venues including the Boston Center for the Arts, UMass Amherst's Fine Arts Center, mobius, Mount Holyoke College, OBERON, Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, Boston University's Dance Theatre and in many more great New England spaces. Outside of Luminarium, Holman is currently making a living as a freelance choreographer, having just finished work on a national commercial and working on several Boston-area theatrical productions. She has been hired as a guest artist, sets new work at various institutions, serves on boards or arts organizations, speaks to groups on her career as a young arts entrepreneur, and works as a freelance choreographer, director and lighting designer. Kim recently made the decision to return to school. As a candidate for a MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts she is exploring the intersections of dance, theatre and design through the experiences that entertain, enlighten and affect humankind.
