The human body was created in its simplest form to move through time and space. We have no boundaries – all beings engage in movement everyday. Dance is my medium to explore this theory of everyday life and common occurrence. Exploration delves though mental, emotional, physical, and in some instances, spiritual experiences. Despite obstacles that often occur, faithful movement is always there to help us continue moving forward in perpetual motion. I experience joy in life through creating movements that express my identity – including my relationships, experiences and lessons learned during my journey. Passion and intense desire to move motivates the essence of my soul, and allows me to cohesively share my journey with all that I encounter. My journey began in Australia, which led to full time training at the New Zealand School of Dance. It was here where my eyes and doors were opened to a career that has spanned over many Continents. From Oceania, Asia, Europe & North America, I have held various positions, including Artist, Company member, Choreographer and Teacher. Despite my progressive experience as a teacher and performer, I still consider myself to be a student of movement. Every day, I continue to learn, create and move forward through this fast paced life that we all live.
