Lily Skove is a filmmaker and choreographer, creating for the screen, installation, and live performance. Lily was the video artist and projection designer for The Bebe Miller Company's latest piece, "A History." Based in Los Angeles, she makes documentaries, commercials and films with her company, Open Land Films. Projects include documentation films for The William Forsythe Company's Motion Bank Project, and a film of Ann Hamilton's "event of a thread," an installation performance at the Park Avenue Armory in NYC. Lily has been on faculty at the The Ohio State University teaching in the Dance and Technology program, at Oberlin College's TIMERA and Dance programs, and the Latvian Academy of Culture's Institute for Choreography in Riga, Latvia. She holds a Diploma in Dance Studies from the Laban Centre in London, a BA from Wesleyan University, and an MFA in Dance & Technology from The Ohio State University.
