About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!
My career has included performing with the Trisha Brown Dance Company, choreographing and performing for my own company and as an independent, teaching at universities and arts centers (including a long stint at the European Dance Development Center in Arnhem, the Netherlands), presenting the work of other artists as Coordinator of the Bryn Mawr College Performing Arts Series, and writing reviews, features and essays on dance for internet and print publication. Currently I am Editor-in-Chief of thINKingDANCE, an online dance journal, and enjoy taking on special projects including remounting Trisha Brown works for the Venice Biennale and Paris Opera Ballet, teaching Contemplative Dance Practice, and creating performance contexts for the work of artists like Susan Rethorst, Johyn Jasperse and Malavika Sarukkai. I am based now in Philadelphia where I've been fortunate to receive Choreographers’ Fellowships and project support from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage through Dance Advance, the Independence and Leeway Foundations, and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
