During a 25 year career as a professional dancer Lorn performed works by Martha Graham, Hanya Holm, José Limón, Bertram Ross, Phoebe Neville, and Bill Evans, among others, and was a member of the companies of Phyllis Lamhut, Lar Lubovitch, Daniel Nagrin, and Don Redlich. She has been on the dance faculties of Princeton University, Rutgers University, the University of New Mexico, and Alvin Ailey School of American Dance, and has been a guest teacher at the Juilliard School and NYU Tisch School of the Arts from which she holds an MFA in performance and choreography. Her choreography and dance films made with her partner Alain Le Razer have been across the United States, in Europe, Russia and Asia. From 1998 to 2001 Lorn directed Transitions Dance Company at Laban Centre London and was subsequently based in the Netherlands. Lorn is certified by Peak Pilates and teaches modern dance, ballet, improvisation and choreography at the University of Texas in Austin.
