I am an expert in the moving human body, non-verbal communication, and theatrical story telling. Currently I am leveraging that expertise to train actors in the University of Connecticut's MFA and BFA actor training programs and to create choreography and design movement for straight plays and musicals at the Connecticut Repertory Theater. I am interested in creative theatrical work that requires heightened physicality and innovative ways of using the human body to tell stories. I am currently working on a project entitled Visualizing Space Harmony. I am using a variety of technologies, animation styles, and motion capture strategies to capture movement and Laban's spatial scales and create 2-D images of the trace forms of the dancer's body moving through space.
