Matt Romein is an interactive programming artist who works primarily in the performance/video spectrum, building digital tools and environments for both himself and other artists. His own work deals primarily with the relationship of biological sensory perception to it's digital input/output counterparts. In looking at this relationship he explores what we lose and what we gain when the organic is augmented and reconfigured by various forms of computer data.
