Orit Sherman is is a native Isreali began her dance training at a young age with Swhizer Dance Center she had the opportunity to study with artists such as Amir Kolben, Nimrod Frid,Rina Glok, the founder of Ari-den Dance Company (July 2009) and co-founder of the Eureka Dance Festival. Orit has been teaching dance and movement for twelve years both in the United State and in her homeland of Israel. She earned her Bachelor’s of Dance Education (B.E.D) from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Since she arrived in the US, she worked for City Dance Center in Bethesda, and has designed educational curriculum for children with dance as the core around literacy, science and language. Orit believes that the creation of dance is a process of self exposure and that this process conveys a genuine and down to earth message.
