About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!
I have trained contemporary dance at OMA and Demidoff Academy in Florence and Architecture at the University of Florence, IT. After I achieved a BA degree in Architecture, I moved to London in order to develop my dance technique and performing skills, attending professional classes and workshops. I have been involved in various projects including a collaborations at Central Saint Martin University of London and Royal Music Academy for MA/ BA final projects. My movement research focus on a range of techniques which includes mainly, floor work, flying low, realise technique and improvisation. Studying architecture and dance simultaneously gave me the chance to observe both disciplines from a different point of view and made me think about the strong relation between movement and environment. I believe the body has its own awareness of the space separate to that of mind. The body and the space both produce and exchange energy which flows into an unique dimension. In my practice I try to be mindful, allowing myself to be inspired by the other sense that I find within everything, in order to set free an instinct rather than a reason. In a society full of information but often absent of meaning, reflecting upon this other sense in order to then create, is what I aim to reach in my process.
