He is a 3rd year Lighting Design MFA Candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He just finished lighting Florencia en el Amazonas and projections for 44 Plays for 44 Presidents. His lighting designs at the U of I include The Last Days of Judas Iscariot(2012); Cabaret(2011); Studio Dance II(2011) and True West(2011). Other projects include Resonance: Touch here. Listen.(2012) created by Grant Bowen and Resonance FOUND(2012) created by Jeff Zahos. His lighting design for Cabaret came in 2nd at the KCACTF National Design Awards. Outside of U of Illinois, he’s designed at Barrington Stage Co, Imagination Stage, Washington Shakespeare Co, Rorschach theatre.
