I am contemporary choreographer and dancer from Minneapolis, Minnesota who has studied dance for the past 11 years. After studying contemporary technique as a dance major at Oberlin College, I am now teaching workshops in international schools and choreographing performances from my home base of Tangier, Morocco. With a strong background in theater, my narrative choreography often discusses social and cultural themes and have been sponsored by the US Embassy of Morocco, the French Institute of Morocco and the American Language Center. I have led workshops and performed in many cities including Berlin, Minneapolis, London, Paris, various cities in India and all over Morocco. My aim is to integrate contemporary dance into each community that I works with as a mode of personal expression and artistic communication. I am very interested in the collaboration of different art mediums and enjoy working with people that push my own boundaries.
