Salka is a Swedish/Icelandic dancer-performer. She has studied at Balettakademin and The Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm, and at P.A.R.T.S, Performing Arts Research and Training Studios in Brussels, where she completed the two cycles and graduated in 2010. Salka received the DanceWEB scholarship in 2009, where she performed “Transformers” by Eszter Salamon and Christine de Smedt. Alongside her studies, Salka has performed her piece “Moments of Satisfaction” in 2008, worked with and performed “Montage for Three” by Daniel Linehan in 2009 and performed “The Show Must Go On” by Jérôme Bel in 2009. After finishing her studies at P.A.R.T.S., Salka will perform her graduation piece “Trash Talk” in Festival d’Automne 2010, and perform in Daniel Linehan’s new creation.
