The MeenMoves dance company started in 2007 under the direction of Sameena Mitta. It has presented dance-theatre works throughout Canada, Japan, India, Kenya and New York. Company members are an integral part of the creative process and include unique and captivating performers from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. The company’s education/outreach project, MadHops, has received numerous funding grants and has had projects in Kenya, India, Japan, NY, and in its long-term hub in Toronto, Canada.
