Sara is an international student from Italy studying physics, astronomy and dance at Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College. She is a junior researcher in the Astrophysics department at the American Museum of Natural History, as part of the Brown Dwarfs New York City (BDNYC) research group which investigates the properties of low mass stars. From promoting women's participation in science, to working on bridging the gap with the arts, Sara aims to make science less intimidating and more accessible.
