Sun Xiao Jun was born in Shanghai and began his training at the Shanghai Dancing School. After 7 years training he became a member of the Shanghai Ballet. In 1993 Xiao Jun won the first prize of "China National Competition". In 1994 he awarded the 2nd prize in Paris International Competition. From 1995-2006, Sun Xiao Jun danced as a Principal Dancer and soloist for the Shanghai Ballet. Grand Théâtre de Genève .Zurich Ballet .Les Grands Ballet Canadiens. Maggio Danza . From 2007 In the U.S.A., Sun Xiao Jun was a guest dancer with the Mississippi Ballet, the Lafayette Ballet theatre. At the same time he was guest teacher taught classes at the Chamber Ballet of Los Angeles and Shanghai dance academy where he also choreographed. Recently He is a ballet guest teacher work for Scapino Ballet, Dutch national Ballet; Dans work Rotterdam, Galili Dance Company. Skanes Dans theatre and Carte Blanche Norwegian Dance Company. Ballet Preliogaj ,Danz Koln and Theatre Krefeld Moenchengladbach..Ulitma Vez ,Trobleyn/Jan Faber, Need company and Compagine Thor. He also work with some open studios and academy like Henny Jurriens Foundation, Yantra acadmy, Danscentrumjette. Proda Foundation, Danscentrum SYD , Parts School and Academy of Cordarts Rotterdam….
