Naccarato received her BFA in Contemporary Dance from Concordia University in 2004, and spent several years as an independent dancer, dance teacher and choreographer in Montreal. In 2005 she founded her company Naccarato Dance, presenting work at festivals across Canada, the United States, and South America. Recent choreographic credits include: Gently between us (2011), Exposure (2010), The Muse (2010) and Lead Ocean (2009). In 2007, Naccarato co-founded a dance for camera organization with filmmaker Desh Fernando titled Nacando Productions for which she choreographed, directed and edited numerous video dance projects. Naccarato has performed nationally and internationally with choreographers Michael Montanaro, Marianne Desjardins, Catherine Castonguay, Ilona Dougherty, Ming Shen Gu, Lillian Skove, Meghan Durham Wall, and others. She was recently invited to write a chapter in book titled: “Creating Dance: A Traveler’s Guide” to be published in 2012.
