Dancer, Pedagogue, Choreographer engaged by the R’dams Conservatory right after graduating. After being a guest dancer for several companies and festivals, as the Holland Dance Festival, she was engaged by the Theatre Choreographique Nacional in France and touring the world for several years. She has developed dance as an artform on a tourist island and dance in Education in the Aruban national curriculum. As co-producer of the unique Aruba Int’l Dance Festival, she has influenced dance in Aruba and the Caribbean area bringing worldfamous companies parallel with local and regional amateur and professional performers on the Aruban stage, while also focussing on the educational part of dance for children and youth in nacional schools. Activities Cofounder and director, Aruba Int’l Dance Foundation/ Aruba Int’l Arts Foundation Cofounder of ‘Caribnet’ Caribbean Arts Presenter’s organizacion Dance Educator, former president of the Arts-education program and head of International affairs of the Pedagogical Institute of Aruba; Dance curriculum developer for the national k-12 to higher education; Figured as judge at Int’l Dance competitions (in Aruba,Washington, Chicago, Japan) As performer danced in almost all continents on some of the world’s best stages. As a practical researcher she has presented in World Arts Events and several Int’l World Congresses as in Kingston, Jamaica (DaCi World Congress 2011), in Paris, France (UNESCO and the World Alliance for Arts Education 2012) and Munich, Germany (Polylogue II World Congress 2013)among others and performs and make coproductions for dance on film.
