    Brittany is an international artist that has presented work and performed in Brazil, Scotland, France, and Paris. Her newest work entitled Masked Down & Dirty world premiered Stuttgart Germany at the International Solo Dance Festival in March, 2014.. She has created an video installation “Ah!s of Breaks,” world premiered in 2013 at the COCO Festival in Trinidad and Tobago, and ScreenDance Miami in Miami Florida. This film will also be viewed in March 2014 at the International Film Festival in Amsterdam’s library collection. As a scholar, she has published her first article, titled “Going beyond Muscle Memory, Now let’s Begin!! This article is published in a dance history book titled Beyond the surface: American Dance History. In 2011 she danced performed in the world premiere of Cordell with Brazz Dance Theatre at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami FL. In 2010 Brittany was an AIR Dance & Performance Institute Session I scholarship artist in residence at the De Republic, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, director Makeda Thomas. At the institute Brittany created new solo work called, “We were made to suffer, Hung before Death, Poverty has Taught me Otherwise” and she taught multiple modern dance class in the Trinidadian community. In 2009 she presented her work Journeying off at the DUMBO Festival in Brooklyn, NY. In November 2008, Brittany received an international invitation to perform and teach at EIDAN, Encontro Internacional De Dança Negra (Encounters of Black in Dance Conference) in Salvador do Bahia, Brazil. As a dancer Brittany has attended New Waves Dance Festival and the American Dance Festival where she studied with Makeda Thomas, Sherone Price and Mark Dendy Rennie Harris, Chris Walker, Dyane Saleem- Harvey, Ananya Chattejea, Andrea Wood amongst others. Brittany has also studied traditional Afro-Caribbean folkloric dance from Cuba, Haiti and Puerto Rico with Babá Richard González, modern dance with Gerri Houlihan, Michelle Grant Murray, Jeanee Travers, Michael Foley, Bliss Khylomers, Andee Scott, and Masazumi Chaya (Alvin Ailey School of Dance), Mohammad De Acosta and Clyde Morgan among others.
