Mariya Bushuyeva was born 6 Oct. 1987 in Kharkiw, Ukraine. She started her dance education in Kharkiw national ballet school, continuing in Hamburg ballet school in 2003, where in 2006 she graduated in classical ballet, modern dance and folklore. Mariya started her professional career in Staatstheater Chemnitz (2006-2009) and continued on with Ballet Mainz (2009 till nowadays). Since 2006 Mariya has been taking part of “Inerdans“ dance festival (Belgium). Mariya has performed works by choreographers such as William Forsythe, Jirì Kyliàn, Johan Inger, Didy Veldman, Jacopo Godani, Georg Reischl, Pascal Touzeau, Bertrand D'at, Stephan Thoss and several others. She also worked as choreographic assistant for Marco Blázquez in 2013 for the creation “A Fading Found“ and she is part of the creative team of “danceFORM“ freelance company project.
