During the past years we have developed independently questions about movement, body and gesture. This investigation arrised from our practice and studies on dance and physical theater. Some questions have come to our minds. Is it possible a pedagogical process having its foundations on creation? How can we develop an investigation through out improvisation and technique? This is how we encounter ourselves today in a research in which both disciplines (dance and physical theater) submerge in a deep dialogue. In this process we have thought and developed an experimental laboratory on continous movement and physical theater. The creative exercise (abstracting, choosing, defining, fixing material) is the pedagogical/exploratory method of learning. On the other hand we use the mistake as a creative tool, improvisation as technique, training and investigation. Our goal is to find or get close to the resignification of space and sorrounding objects from a poetical, present and organic body. Cia. La Torpe. Bogota Colombia
