Song Nan was educated in Chinese classical dance from Beijing Dance Institute. In 1999, he joined and performed with National Dance & Song Ensemble of China as a former member. In 2003, he finished his diploma in dance from LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts with Distinction, and was presented the most outstanding award of the Division of Performing Arts. He passed Intermediate R.A.D major examination. He graduated Bachelor Degree from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2008. He received many scholarships during his study including ACC’s Alvin Ailey fellowship.
He has performed on many occasions in Hong Kong, as well as overseas.
