An interactive dance show. Uniting diverse elements of urban culture, such as dance, music, scratch and beatbox. Processed through an infrared camera, to generate video effects on the screens.Augmented dance, is a process that consists of adding graphic video elements to the action in real time. Creatively co-opting the Kinect device for Xbox 360 video games (an infrared tracking camera) the dancer's body and movement are recorded live to generate animations and video effects.This work raises as axes the multiple relationships between the real world and the virtual world. Playing with perspective and depth perception to show the movement of the dancer's body.The visuals generated with the TOUCHDESIGNER software and intervened live with MODUL8.
