This video is about the first experimentations of dancing and relating physically with the baxter humanoid robot. The inclusive somatic-technological improvisational dance approach aims to develop the HRI possibilities offered by baxter despite its apparent movement limitations. the development of each person's embodied relation with baxter and each other includes everyday movement vocabulary and their dance experiences, such as ballet, flamenco, and contact improvisation, while playing with the basic movement patterns in relation with baxter, the ground and one another (yielding and pushing, reaching and pulling).
