Interesting beginning with the brick and quick shots to the dancer. added some suspension to it. The ending fall and brick-adding was interesting as well. I also found the close-up shot of her hand on the brick to be striking.
I have a comment on the editing between her toe movement--perhaps edit sooner, in the middle of the toe wiggling, so that the two diff. environments mesh/transition better.
The ending was very interesting with the bricks being inserted into the shot to eventually replace her body.
I feel that the concept and choice of environment was strong. However, the performance and choreography itself was somewhat weak. I question the choice of movement-- I was unsure of what the dancer's intention was. She kept feeling the brick.... is there other movement that you could explore with? And she did some balletic "dance-y" movements when she was inside. Movement is supposed to be the primary element, and I believe that the "brick theme" was too heavily relied on to tie the whole dance together. Her performance also raised a question: it seems as if she was unsure of the choreography and what her true/honest motivation was behind the movement. Her performance could have been more compelling.
So, overall, nice idea, and edited well, but maybe work more in-depth with the choreography and performance aspect of the dance.
