King's Visualisation Lab in collaboration with TMA have created »Meeting Places: Art and Science, Performance in Real and in Virtual Hellerau«, a mixed-reality intervention that simultaneously occured in the physical space of the Great Hall at Hellerau, and in the virtual Great Hall, constructed in the online world of Second Life. Seven rhythmic students of the Carl Maria von Weber Music Academy performed an improvised musical choreography on the real and projected/virtual platforms and staircases in front of a sinking sun which is actually the atmospheric nature environment in Second Life.
