In occasion of the International Dance Day 2012, lets start a collaborative playlist on why dance is relevant. A collaborative celebration, an act of resistance and an esthetics statement!
Why dance matters?
the Idea is that you suggest one or several videos from YouTube embedding them in the comment area of this video. So, we create a collaborative thread and like a online dance parade!
I use the video created by Imagen y Movimiento in Colombia for this day and the Flamenco activists as starting point.
Let's have a week accumulating a collective perspective and wisdom on why dance matters.
Then the playlist will be aggregated on dance-tech.TV you tube account and published on the dance-tech.tv.
This playlist will also be shown at MOV-S 2012 in Cadiz on the dance-tech.tv space.

from the isolated, non-verbal transformations that dance across a brief, random flip of juke box tunes, it could be observed (with the eyes for such instances) how far fate and destiny extend, and how far along from or by the way the will take their cue and lead will propel the willingness to supersede just the path shown on amap, or pattern of steps drawn on a floor ... which perhaps should most rightly pass without additional comment, and stand ... though never "still" as what is ... which provides for at least the mystery of precede, follows, is ... or was provoked ... it may well be that the entire film was itself conceived and written outwards in in causality, temporal, narrative, and even perhaps dimensional considerations of ... well, just a day ... in one sense at least ... here extending outward, just slightly, in terms of context ...
