Interesting concept. It was choreographed and performed very well. Good job, you guys.
The movement and choices of interaction with the food/cloth/plate were cleverly done. The hand covered in pasta sauce moment was very striking.
However, the camera shots hid much of the dancer and made it hard to see her.
I yearned to see the full body of her, rather than solely closeups. Closeups are interesting, but the viewer needs some relief from the tension that the close shots create. There were a few wide shots, but I needed more. Wide shots would have helped me understand and see her more. I am glad, however, that those closeups were on her hands, feet, shoulder, back, etc. and not her face--they made the piece very interesting.
Also, I question the role of the feet and the shoes.... those feet shots didn't mesh well with the rest of the shots. Perhaps insert some varied angle/distance shots and not just a shot from one location on her feet. Put her feet in context with the rest of the piece--show us that they are part of her whole body--perhaps camera movement or a wide shot could help with this transition.
I also question the segment towards the end where it repetitively jumps from the table to her feet. it was too jumpy for me and the cuts happened too fast.
I did find the ending satisfying--very nice performance, Christina--your facial expression was quite nice because it added this mysteriousness to the piece and left it somewhat unresolved.
So all in all, it was a strong piece--just add in some wide-shots.
