The events took place as part of the Media Facades Festival.Giants of the Hoods was a street event open to all passersby and local citizens. It took place in three nights each time in a different neighborhood of Helsinki area – Kallio, Kontula, and Tapiola. A closing event that gathered the experiences together in a playful dance battle organised in the heart of Helsinki.The Media Facades Festival explores networked possibilities of urban screens and media facades via internet and new technologies on a European level. The festival cities 2010 were Berlin, Brussels, Helsinki, Liverpool, Linz, Madrid, and Budapest. Giants of the Hoods was also part of the Helsinki Festival programme 2010.
