The process: meditation on a place you love: its smells, sights, emotions, textures, sounds, tastes. Writing about that place, telling another person about your love for the place. Then imagine that place will no longer exist, for any number of reasons, but you know that soon it will not be there. Write a goodbye letter to that place, thank it for everything it gave you--from the conviction that you will never see it again. Make a performance for the camera from this letter.
