More info http://idill.eu/2011 Short film festival 2011 Call for submissions IDILL is an international competition for short films of movement and dance. The aim of IDILL is to reveal and reward cinematographic and audiovisual creativity that has dance as its central theme, and, more broadly, movement. Particular attention is also focused on the musical dimension that accompanies or underpins the cinematographic work. IDILL aims at highlighting creation in contemporary dance through the poetic, innovative vision of authors and directors. Commercial music clips are not accepted in this competition. The choice of the format – less than 5 minutes – is intended to encourage works, which do not necessarily have standard means of production. It also constitutes a deliberate artistic choice in so far as it gives rise to a cinematographic language that is highly specific.
