In this interview, the engineer in the arts and software developer Frieder Weiss, takes us across his experience in several collaborative projects: from his pioneering explorations as a part of Palindrome to the impressive and awarded Mortal Engine in collaboration with the australian choreographer Gideon Obarzanek. This intervierview took place in Prague within the frame of the first session of the ETP European Tele-Plateaus.

  • really interesting interview Marlon, thanks - Frieder Weiss is at the top of his game, clearly a visionary and an excellent programmer - I found it particularly interesting that he mentions the concept of late binding in performance. This concept I only know from my own research into object oriented software programming paradigms, usually used in the context of how late in the process of execution, data relationships are established - at a program's compile time or runtime.
