http://www.dance-tech.net I interviewed the Tunisian dancer/actor/choreographer Radhouane El Meddeb during his attendance to the BIPOD Beirut International Platform of Dance in April 2009. He talks about his desire and need to tell personal stories with movement instead of words and how this took him to develop a career as a performer/choreographers of solo work. In his work he presents a soulful movement investigation on the nature of storytelling, dance performance, gender and geopolitical identity. He tells us a beatiful story about her encounter with movement investigation teacher Lisa Nelson and her impact on his work.
