Performance in two internetcafe's, that are live connected. Spectators in Europe are connected to their performer in Sri Lanka on the beach in a village devastated by the 2004 Tsunami. By this a personal, poetic and confusing performance is created about our ambiguous relation with the third world. Do we project a pleasant exotic image on the people we see, do we project a cry for help on the innocent face in front of us, or is that all just caused by our neo colonial guilt feelings? Is there another more deep connection possible with someone who is 8000 km away from us? Slowly the european installtion starts to smell, feel and look like that one on the beach, till the hot water is coming in.
