Phantom Limb is a trans-disciplinary research project that combines mathematical models from cognitive neuroscience with choreography, music and visual arts in order to realize new creative approaches in the performing arts.In particular, in this work we use artificial neural networks as a common substrate to establish algorithmic connections between cognitive neurosciences, dance, sound synthesis and generative video. These disciplines gather operationally and form a unity on the basis of their circular interactions.CHOREOGRAPHY: Muriel RomeroMUSIC : Pablo PalacioINTERACTIVE VISUAL SIMULATION:Daniel Bisig.PERFORMANCE:Begoña Quiñones, Verónica Garzón, Alicia Narejos y Muriel Romero.LIGHTING:Juan Carlos Casado and Pablo Palacio.SCENOGRAPHIC ASSISTANCE:Pablo BatistaPRODUCTION:Instituto StocosSUPPORTS:European Union Culture Program,Comunidad de Madrid,Unterwegs Theater (Heidelberg),Teatros del Canal (Madrid),La Casa Encendida (Madrid),El Graner Espacio de Creació (Barcelona),Teatro Paco Rabal (Madrid),Infomus-Casa Paganini- Universitá de Genova , Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology of Zurich
